In search of the soft morning light, which has the remarkable ability to enhance the depth and intricacy of the subject, the images taken are then transformed to a painterly quality on canvas.
Each visit to a new location sparks a sense of anticipation and excitement, as the artist tries to capture the ineffable essence that can only be perceived and interpreted internally. The allure of sourcing materials is difficult to put into words, but it is undeniably tangible and distinct.
