Illawarra Artist, Jennifer Luck, shares her love of the ocean, environment and free-diving through her unique oil paintings. 
Growing up in Thirroul, swimming and diving from age 2, she shows a celebration, exploration and appreciation of not only her local environment and passions but also the art-making process and media of oil paints using chemical reactions, manipulated chance, weathering and environmental techniques.

Through her artworks she invites viewers to reflect upon and explore the beauty and fragility of nature, ocean life and to share her experiences from her travels, explorations and diving experiences with her son.

 Each artwork is unique as they preserve memories, moods, and emotions that are attached to each “Effervescent Wonder” and highlights the smaller aspects of nature; the textures, layers, surfaces, space, light, movement and depth that is so often overlooked, misused or forgotten.
